Greg founded The Helping Hand Program in June 2018 after completing coach training through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Realizing he would no longer have interaction with his training peers, and dealing with the growing concern of how to maintain his new coaching skills, he started to ask questions about how others dealt with this issue.
It was at the end of his training that Greg learned about bartered coaching which is a method of coaching that allows coaches to earn "paid" coaching hours by trading services. Bartered coaching sounded like a win-win, so he contacted his fellow coaches and officially began running his own bartered coaching program with 26 coaches.
Within four months, enrollments in The Helping Hand grew to more than 150 coaches, and by the end of the first year, the program exploded to 550 coaches around the world. Today, the program has seen more than 1,000 participants come through the program, many of whom remain year after year to maintain the credentials they received as a result of the bartered coaching program.
The Helping Hand has grown into a worldwide community of like-minded coaches who practice their coaching skills in a safe environment while gaining the confidence they need to reach their potential as coaches. The program is an approved Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Provider by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and provides monthly training sessions delivered by former iPEC lead instructors with thousands of coaching hours between them. The program also offers access to a training library and mentor coaching sessions each year.
