Watch this Welcome Video that will explain the basics of The Helping Hand Program.
The Helping Hand for Coaches began in 2018 and has exploded into a worldwide coaching community that clearly demonstrates the need for such a community. Today, more than 1,000 coaches have experienced The Helping Hand for Coaches. Certified Professional Coaches at all levels of experience can benefit from the program's multiple service offerings whether they simply desire to enhance their skills and gain confidence in their coaching or need to obtain the required CCEs to maintain ICF credentials.
Bartering is the provision of goods or services for other goods or services without the exchange of money. When professional coaches barter their coaching services in exchange for other professional services, their coaching hours are considered "paid."
In a bartered coaching system, the International Coach Federation (ICF) requires that coaches trade their coaching services, session for session, in order to claim "paid" coaching hours towards their certification (ACC/PCC/MCC).
Certified Professional Coaches wishing to join the program must complete an ICF-Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) that includes at least 60 hours of coaching as part of the curriculum. A certificate of completion (or other documentation) is required for verification. Coaches are not required, but are strongly encouraged, to be members of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
The Helping Hand for Coaches program is designed to support coaches who desire to continue practicing the art and skill of coaching in a safe environment and have an interest in bartering their coaching services to earn paid coaching hours towards their ICF Credentials.
Develop and maintain your newly-discovered coaching skills in a safe environment where new coaches continue practicing and learning with other coaches following their ICF- Accredited training programs. Not only will you coach, but you will also receive coaching through this bartered-coaching system.
Participate in a recognized bartered coaching system designed to help coaches accumulate "paid" coaching hours towards their basic International Coach Federation (ICF) Certification. According to the 2016 ICF Global Coaching Study, coaches who hold a credential from a professional coaching association report higher annual revenue from coaching than their peers without a credential.
The Helping Hand is an approved Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Provider with the ICF. Participants can maintain their ICF credentials (ACC/PCC) by earning up to 12 CCE's towards the Core Competencies requirement by attending select monthly training events, at no additional cost.
Every month offers a new webinar or training session provided by seasoned PCC-level coaches and highly trained instructors. Enhance your current coaching skills while you forge new ones by attending special training sessions via Zoom. Coaches who are already credentialed through the ICF as ACC/PCC/MCC earn Continuing Coach Education (CCE) credits when they attend.
Join the private Facebook Community as an active coach in the program and continue receiving access to recorded webinars and training, free templates such as Coaching Agreements, ask questions, promote ideas, and gain support while accessing current announcements.
One of the most important things in business is to not only follow the process but to fall in love with it. Here, coaches are free to test their client logs, explore best practices for onboarding new clients, and to work out other business-related processes such as online scheduling and new business applications.
